PHIBROWS MICROBLADING

PRICE:

R3 600.00

HOW DOES IT WORK:

Most of the time a prior consultation is not required, see under “Treatment Information” for specific instances that require a prior consultation.

Every eyebrow is different as every face is different, we will shape according to your facial features and bone structure to create a brow just for you. The colour of the pigment we use will also be best suited to your skin and hair colour, to give you the most natural looking brow.  Once we have shaped your brow, you look to make sure that you are happy with the shape and thickness and from there we begin.

We will explain step by step to ensure you understand the procedure. Your entire appointment is an hour and a half.

The colour is always darker and more vibrant directly after the treatment and lightens up to 40% during healing.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE:

This includes the initial procedure and correction. Correction MUST be done between 4 – 8 weeks (unless otherwise discussed). If not done during this period the touch up/correction will be charged for separately.

PRICE:

R2 000.00

HOW DOES IT WORK:

A colour boost needs to be done every 12 – 18 months to refresh colour. Clients with very oily skin may need to do a colour boost more often. Timing depends on skin type.

PhiBrows is a manual skill of semi-permanent eyebrow drawing. Shape of the eyebrows is calculated according to the golden intersection (phi 1.618) and face morphology.

The pigment is applied into the surface layer of the dermis using sterilized tools.

The pigment is chosen so to match the natural hair or eyebrows’ colour. After the healing, the colour may become several hues lighter that the natural hairs’ colour.

Symmetry is achieved through PhiBrows application and it is calculated while the clients’ eyes are closed because in that way mimetic muscles that can affect eyebrows’ symmetry are relaxed.

Strokes are always drawn in the direction of natural hairs’ growth to achieve hyper-realistic look.

When a client has very few natural hairs, manual technique is combined with the machine in order to get shadows that improve the volume. The combination of both techniques is called PhiFusion.

Treatment is performed with disposable sterile tools (PhiBrush), and pigments are produced in accordance with the highest standards (PhiBrows microblading pigments).

Correction is done a month after the treatment, because between 10 and 15% of drawn strokes disappear after the first treatment.

Colour is extremely dark during the first 5 to 7 days. 7 days later, it loses 40 to 50% of its intensity. If you think the colour is too dark, do not try to remove it yourself by no means. Patiently wait 7 days for the colour to fade on its own after the healing of the skin.

Color duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour lasts. Sweating and sun exposure also reduce colour fastness.

On average, expected time until a new colour refreshment is between 10 and 12 months. With oily skin it is up to 6 months.

The healing is fully completed after 28 days and this is when we perform an obligatory addition of the pigment that has been lost. With problematic and oily skins, we can have several additions (corrections).

Post-treatment flow makes 70% of the treatment’s success. Conscientiously obey advice, because if you don’t do so you may lose up to 80% of drawn strokes. Rinsing and applying creams is of great importance.

Pain during the treatment is relative. Scared clients and clients who have their period usually feel stronger pain, while the other clients compare the pain to the one they feel when plucking eyebrows. It is possible to use mild anesthetics in form of cream or liquid that can entirely eliminate the pain during the treatment.

The success of the treatment depends on the:

– skin quality
– post-treatment flow and care
– exposure to different external factors

All of these factors are out of the artist’s control, so any possibility to provide guarantees for the treatment is excluded.

Always have a consultation with the artist before the treatment if you:

– have problematic skin
– have serious health problems
– take some medicines
– have existing old permanent make-up on your eyebrows.

Get familiar with the post-treatment flow thoroughly before the treatment.

72 hours before your procedure:

• Be in good health
• Avoid alcohol
• Avoid Aspirin / Ibuprofen

One week before stop taking the following:

• Vitamin E
• B6
• Omega 3
• Gingko Biloba
• St. John’s Wort

as they contribute to thinning the blood and may affect anaesthetic efficiency. You may resume taking your vitamins 72 hours after.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Do NOT discontinue any prescribed medication without your doctor’s permission.
On the day of your appointment: avoid caffeine, alcohol and exercise.
Wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid the shower for several days. Baths are recommended.

The skin must not be in the inflammatory process or the process of healing and regeneration before each treatment.

The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before the treatment:

– botox and fillers
– fruit or milk acids
– laser treatments
– chemical peelings
– exposure to strong sunlight

30 minutes after the treatment wash the eyebrows with neutral soap and warm water. Remove all the lymph and previously applied cream by doing so. After that apply a very thin layer of Skin Candy.

Repeat this procedure 3 to 5 times during the day. If the treatment was done late in the afternoon and you do not have time to do it 3 to 5 times, put a plastic film over the eyebrows you previously applied the Skin Candy, so that you protect the eyebrows from drying and wiping overnight.

In the next 14 days, maintain facial hygiene and apply the Skin Candy 2 – 3 times daily (0-1 times a day for oily skin). Skin Candy can be used on all skin types, due to its natural active components that regulate oiling.

What is to be avoided:

During the first 10 days avoid water, creams, all make up (foundation) in the eyebrow area. Avoid workouts that involve a lot of sweating, sauna, facial massage and steaming (inhalation).

In the next 30 days:

Sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peelings, fruit acids, microdermabrasions, creams that contain regeneration factors.

Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (fraxel, laser, IPL) because they can destroy the pigments and cause burns.

Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to a faster pigment fading. Always protect the eyebrows from the sun with SPFs (not during the first 10 days).

PHIREMOVAL

PRICE:

Pricing depends on size of required removal.

HOW DOES IT WORK:

  • Tattoo removal tool is used in a similar way as tattooing or micropigmenting, with the same equipment.
  • Tattoo extraction formula starts working almost immediately after drawing the original tattoo ink, moving upwardly through the skin.
  • Scab containing tattoo ink is formed over the treated area in the next few days. As the skin is healing, even more unwanted tattoo ink gets drawn out.
  • The scab starts to peel off naturally, extracting the unwanted tattoo ink. You are likely to have a secondary scab containing even more tattoo ink.

After the procedure and for as long as you have the scab on the skin, keep the treated area dry. Removal of the tattoo or bad PMU doesn’t end after one treatment. It takes more than one procedure to remove everything you are not satisfied with, but the first results are immediately visible. If only the epidermis is affected, usually there are no traces or scars because the base layer cells of the epidermis are able to regenerate completely.

Tattoo removal treatment – PhiRemoval is the best and the safest method for removal of poor quality PMU or tattoos. This product is created with love and for skin care. It is of great importance because all surgical tattoo removal methods are both painful and leave large scars.
